2018 Trip

In 2018, the volunteer group had four OT’s, eight PT’s and a general surgeon. We volunteered in four rehabilitation clinics and Hospital San Carlos. We worked with over 100 patients.

We toured the Tizimin town museum with the curator and founder, visited Ek Balam, enjoyed swimming in a cenote, weathered a very unusual storm, enjoyed local foods and learned some of the traditions.

We were in Tizimin for a full six days. The remaining four days of the trip were split between Tizimin and Merida and traveling to and from the U.S.
