Two Trips in 2022
wE HAD two TRIPS in one year FOR THE FIRST TIME
A group of four dedicated physical therapists represented AHR and worked with colleagues in the state rehabilitation clinic in Tizimin for four days. This trip was followed by another small group of pediatric physical therapists, who worked in two of the state operated special-education schools in Merida for three days. Both groups received support and assistance from a Rotary Club (Meridanas) in Merida. This new partnership helps to extend our relationships with government officials and local leaders in both communities. We look forward to returning to both communities in 2023.

We enjoyed a tour of the House of Culture in Tizimin during an afternoon when musical groups were practicing. Experiencing some of the local cultural activities are a part of each trip.
